Leave it to Leonor #294
This week, I am thinking about a color walk. I didn't know this was a thing people did during the panini (or ever?) or something that people use to con their children into walking with them, but I love it. I decided to turn one of my recent walks into a color walk. Typically, when I'm walking, I am focused on not tripping because I am an absolute klutz. I tried to choose the color red early on and quickly realized that forcing a color onto the walk was the wrong move because I immediately began to see shades of blue everywhere. Serves me right to try to control what clearly should be an organic thing.
I loved the way it forced me to slow down and pay attention to the things around me. I loved editing the grids when I got home. I tried not to overthink them. Am I going to obsessively do this for all the colors? You bet. (No, I did not learn my lesson about controlling things)

This week in reading. . .
Man, the American Royals series is so messy. I grew weary of the entire series by the third book, but I didn't bother to stop reading.
I was so so excited to see that The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina, an epic family drama steeped in magical realism. It has an Ecuadorian matriarch and family, a good portion of it takes place in Guayaquil, there are Ecuadorian foods! I was so happy. Representation matters and all that.
This week in listening. . .
I am in an absolute podcast rut. Send me your recs please! I do not like true crime and I do like podcasts with co-hosts who have great chemistry.
