I drafted this newsletter before the latest mass shooting. If I rewrote my newsletter every time there was a mass shooting in America, I'd never have a newsletter about anything other than gun violence. By now you've probably seen that there have been 212 mass shootings in 144 days or that firearms are the leading cause of death for children and adolescents.
